Austrian glass · Weck clip system

Rex jars are made in Austria and use the same glass-lid, rubber-seal, and stainless-steel clip system as Weck jars. They're a natural complement to Weck — clips, seals, and glass lids are fully interchangeable between the two brands, and they sit together perfectly on a shelf.

Rex specialises in smaller, more compact shapes that Weck doesn't cover as well — the multi-faceted 290ml jar, the 140ml mini tapered, and the MyRex twist-top range for everyday pantry use. If you're building out a Weck-compatible collection and want more variety at smaller sizes, Rex fills those gaps.

Rex and Weck clips & seals are interchangeable

Rex jars use the same 60mm and 80mm rubber seals and stainless clips as Weck. Replacement seals, clips, and glass lids are in our Lids & Bands collection.
