Description
1 litre (actual capacity 1040ml) Weck Preserving Cylinder Jar. Takes Medium lid and seal. Good size for long thin vegetables such as beans and asparagus.
Jjar complete with glass lid, natural rubber seal and 2 stainless steel clips. (Note that jars may be supplied with Rex lids rather than Weck branded ones. Rex brand is made in the Weck factory but does not have the strawberry logo on it)
Weck reusable Glass Jars are of the highest quality and contain NO BPA (Bisphenol A).
These jars are suitable for water bath, and pressure canning.

Weck canning jars are made with thick glass to withstand boiling, sterilizing and processing over and over again. Glass lids preclude issues with rusting, and the tab on the replaceable rubber ring, when facing downwards, indicates clearly that the seal on the jar is intact.
All jars have wide openings for tidy, easy filling.
Note that all cylinder jars are embossed with the Weck strawberry logo.
